Tournament Summary

In an impressive 3-gamer, Christie not only won the Pro National Title and first place money, but also unseated Cheryl Gudinas as the LPRA's yearend number one player for the first time in 4 years. The scores were 3, 7, and 8. Each player had lost only one game in their route to the finals, but Christie's serve and retrieving abilty in the finals proved to be the difference. Keeping constant pressure on her opponent, Christie was just too much to handle!
