The Georgia Racquetball Association has decided to terminate its own ranking system and use, instead, the national ranking system developed by the USAR.
Just in case you didn't know, the national system is based on the matches you win or lose. It is called a "double jump" system meaning that to move up you must defeat two persons ranked above you within a certain period of time and then you will take the ranking position of the lesser of the two persons who you defeated. The person whose position you took moves back only one ranking position (not to your old position). Of course, only singles matches are included and only those played at sanctioned events. A doubles ranking system is still under development.
The entire national ranking system will soon be available at the GRA site, in the meantime, you will note that if you tell the system that you want to see Georgia players, it will show both the state ranking ("Filtered) as well as the national ranking number.
A neat new feature is that you can now create a subset "by age" to see how you rank among other players your own age and older.
Naturally, we want your feedback on this system.
